Bankstown Art Centre presents Mother Tongues, an exhibition showcasing the work of three local Artists whose works explore language, identity and representation within Canterbury-Bankstown.

Over the month of September the artists will develop work at Incubate Artists Studios to be included in the exhibition.

Mother Tongues Writers Residencies

 

Over 2019 Bankstown Arts Centre in collaboration with Sydney Review of Books offered a number of residencies to  women and non-binary writers based in Western Sydney at Incubate Artists Studios, a dedicated arts space set up in the former Women's Rest Centre in the heart of Bankstown.
