The Cooks River? uncovers the history of 12 Aboriginal people with their connections to the Cooks River, through photographs and local histories.

This project highlights a traditional and migration connection to the Cooks River that focuses on the changes to the river, the history, the custodianship that developed and continues today, the issue around its name and the reasons for migration.

Cooks River? is a commissioned work by the Cooks River Alliance that desired to know more about the Aboriginal history of the catchment.
