Our Early Childhood Speech Pathology service provides speech and language assessment and intervention, for children with communication difficulties. Our speech pathologist works with children in homes and children's education and care services.​

Who can access the service?

The service is available to families with children (birth up to school age) who live or attend one of our early childhood education and care services in the City of Canterbury Bankstown, and who may need help in the following areas:

  • Speech sounds;
  • Talking;
  • Understanding;
  • Stuttering;
  • Voice; and 
  • Social skills.

Who can refer to the service?

  • Families;
  • Children's Services Educators;
  • Early Childhood Health Professionals; and 

Is there a cost?

There is an initial fee for a communication assessment and  a 6 monthly administration fee applies for Speech Therapy. A non-refundable application fee is required for the child to be placed on the waiting list.
