The Positive Ageing Plan is based on information Council has receieved from seniors and aged-care services. Positive Aging Plan Canterbury bankstown The Positive Ageing Plan is based on information that older people and services for seniors have told us about current issues and needs.  


More than a third of the population in Canterbury-Bankstown is ageing. With this comes different initiatives and commitments Council needs to prioritise in order to continue supporting our ageing residents.

The Positive Ageing Plan will guide the work that we will do to support seniors living, working and visiting our City.

We are consulting the community to hear what you have to say about living in Canterbury-Bankstown. Please visit this page over the coming weeks for details on the face to face community consultation workshops.
