Bankstown Women's Health Centre (BWHC) is a non-government organisation that is run by women for women and their families. It offers a wide range of health services that help women to take care of their health and wellbeing. The Centre is open to women who work or live in the wider Canterbury-Bankstown area, of any age, nationality or culture.
There are many fantastic services, including a community nurse, counselling, and CSA counselling. These services are free! In addition, there is a bulk billing Psychologist and General Practitioner for you to access. The Centre also operates several Groups and activities (which are free or for a very small charge).
Case management is also available – for free – and specialises in working with women experiencing domestic and family violence or other abuse.
Anyone is welcome to come in and find out more.
