CBCity Youth Week 2024

Youth Week is a week-long celebration organised by young people, for young people, held in communities across the state in early April each year. 
2024 Youth Week will be held from  Thursday 11 April-Sunday 21 April and the theme is: Express. Empower. Get loud!

Future Pathways Expo 
Take the next step in your employment and education journey!
Young people aged 12-25 are invited to join Metro Assist at this Expo, which includes:
  • Stallholders, including TAFE NSW, Dress for Work, Headspaces and University of Western Sydney
  • Interview skills
  • Resume writing
  • More information on further education and employment

Create and Sip 
New Zealand resin
Designed to connect generations and cultures together, this unique Create and Sip experience is like no other!
Cost includes:
  • Two tickets for a young person and their family member (must be over 20)
  • Two-course sit down meal including non-alcoholic refreshments
  • Cultural talk and one hour create and sip session, materials supplied.

  • Time: 6-9pm
  • Who: 12-18 years and parents/guardians

Get Reel on Country - SOLD OUT
Get into the great outdoors, cast a line and learn how to fish on the Georges river.
Go on a dreamtime journey with Aunty Noelene and Aunty Lyn as they share their knowledge. Join us as we learn the history of the river, soak up the sun, enjoy nature among friends and play a game of volleyball. 
Lunch is sorted, just make sure you book!

PCYC NSW is a charity empowering young people to survive and thrive.  Come and join the team for a day filled with friendly competition and get to know the crew!

This Adventure Challenge is a scavenger hunt and amazing race mixed into one! Clues will guide teams around the heart of Bankstown, completing activities which need brain power, muscle and creativity.

The City of Canterbury Bankstown acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, water and skies of Canterbury-Bankstown, the Darug (Darag, Dharug, Daruk, Dharuk) People. We recognise and respect Darug cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge the First Peoples’ continuing importance to our CBCity community.
