This is an ideal hall for a vast array of activities and functions. It is located in the Terry Lamb reserve (Abbot Park) with sporting fields on either side of the facility. The outside playing fields are not part of the hall hire. The facility can only be booked after 6pm on Saturdays during the summer sporting season (September to March), and has limited availability on Saturdays during the winter sporting season (April to August).
Location: Corner of Miller and Waldron Road, with the entrance off Banool Street, Chester Hill, NSW 2162 (located within Abbott Park). Maximum Capacity: 150 people. Facilities: Kitchen with two fridges, boiling hot water system, oven, stove and microwave. Playground facilities adjacent to the hall. Air-conditioning: No. There are whirly birds in the ceiling and tinted windows. Room equipment: 27 tables and 150 chairs, wooden floorboards. Hirers must supply all their own cutlery, plates, glasses and table cloths. PA system: No Wi Fi Access: No Accessibility: Toilet and wheelchair accessible Amusement Device: The Terry Lamb field can be hired for the use of a jumping castle. Charges for field hire are in addition to the hall hire. Public liability insurance limited to 20 million dollars with Canterbury Bankstown Council listed as an interested party MUST be supplied from the amusement device provider. Hire Charges
All set up and pack down needs to be completed within the hire times. The hirer must leave the hall clean and tidy as they found it. No amusement devices are permitted inside the hall. Hirers must keep noise to a minimum when arriving, and leaving the premises. Damage to property or an unclean hall will lead to money being deducted from the bond. Entering and exiting the hall outside hire times will incur fines.
