​​ About this Hall

There two halls at the Sefton Community Centre. The Snow Hall which can accommodate 60 people and the Small Hall (the Church) which can accommodate 20 people and is only used for playgroups. The Snow Hall has a stage and there is children's play equipment outside.

Location: Old St John's Church, Batt Street, Sefton

Maximum Capacity: Snow Hall: 60 people, Small Hall: 20 people

Facilities: The facilities in the Snow Hall include a stage, accessible toilets, a ceiling fan, air conditioning and a kitchen with a stove, boiling hot water system, fridge and microwave. The facilities in the Small Hall include a small kitchenette with a bar fridge, boiling hot water system and ceiling fans.

Room equipment: The Snow Hall has 12 tables and 60 chairs.

PA system: No

Accessibility: Yes

Parking: Parking is available on the street; as well as limited off-street parking.

Sunday to Thursday: 8am​-10pm  
Friday and Saturday: 8am–midnight

Hire Charges​​​

Conditions of use

Due to the close proximity to neighbouring residents, it is not suitable for birthday celebrations, weddings, engagements or any function with loud music or noise. The vacant block of land located at the back of the hall does not come with the hire and must not be used. All set up and pack down needs to be completed within the hire times. The hirer must leave the hall clean and tidy as they found it. Damage to property or an unclean hall will lead to money being deducted from the bond

No bookings are taken over the phone and bookings are only accepted on submitting a completed application form with full payment of all bond and hire fees. Download the Casual Hall Hire Application Form  and return to council via email: hallbookings@cbcity.nsw.gov.au.
