With both Ancestry and Find My Past giving you free access during lockdown, there's no better time to explore your family history! 

Ancestry Library Edition 

Explore your family's history using local and international records including convict and free settler lists, passenger lists, Australian and New Zealand electoral rolls and military records. There are English, Welsh and Scottish records. 
Get Started 
Ancestry Library Edition has granted free remote access during lockdown. Follow the instructions below: 
1. Go to the Online Catalogue
2. Click "My Account" on the green left-hand menu. 
3. Log in with your Library card number and date of birth (DDMMYY). 
4. Once logged in, a link to Ancestry.com will appear at the bottom of the green left-hand menu. Click on this to gain access to Ancestry.com. 

Findmypast 

Trace your family history with millions of records covering the UK, Australia and New Zealand, including travel and migration records, military records and newspapers. 
Get Started 
Findmypast has granted free remote access until November 18.  From November 19, it will only be available onsite at the nine Canterbury-Bankstown library branches. Follow the link and login with these details:
