Our Let's Go celebrations give you a unique experience of different cultures.
They run over three months and include a variety of programs, activities and entertainment, including music, dance, traditional painting and crafts and much more!
Our next Let's Go series, Let's Go Ukrainian, will celebrate the rich Ukrainian culture and history.
Let's come together to celebrate all things Ukrainian!
Join us for the official launch of Let's Go Ukrainian.
We will mark the start of the fifth cultural celebration with an official launch, beginning with an inspired performance by the Jaga Band. This distinctive celebration will feature traditional songs, dances and much more. Refreshments will be provided.

Created by Ukrainian artists, Phillip Okwara and Tetiana Koldunenko, some show Petrykivka (a traditional Ukrainian decorative painting style) and others display the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Phillip, who recently relocated from Khrakiv, Ukraine, to Sydney, is extremely passionate about arts and creativity. It was his father who inspired him to study decorative arts and he went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Philology and Teaching.
In this session, you will get to paint vibrant colours of Petrykivka and sunflowers.
These workshops are for adults only. Bookings required. ALL SESSIONS ARE FULLY BOOKED
Enjoy a musical evening with world-famous Soprano Larissa Kovalchuk as she thrills audiences with her bandura, a traditional Ukrainian instrument. The trained vocalist combines her captivating voice with the sound of her bandura to delight the musical senses.
She has performed in numerous festivals in Ukraine and Europe as well as studying and conducting at Ukraine's Kyiv Conservatorium of Music.
People familiar with Larissa may have heard her recordings with SBS and ABC Radio or seen her live at the Opera House during Musical Viva as well as other multicultural and folk festivals. This is a display of talent you don't want to miss.
Sessions are open to all ages. Refreshments provided.

Children will discover the sweet art of cookie decorating in our exclusive cookie decorating masterclass led by My Uki Cookie.
This holiday activity seamlessly blends snacking and crafting! Guided by their creativity and imagination, children will decorate pre-baked and cooled cookies with vibrant yellow icing and end the session with a tasty treat!

In this session, we will be introduced to Yevgeniya and her books, the cultural background of Ukraine and how it is developing in the present situation. She will also talk about the Ukrainian community in Australia and how they continue to maintain their cultural traditions.
Her daughter, Tetiana, who is an artist, will also display her works. We will conclude with a special craft - a sunflower bracelet to give away!

Masha & Valentyna is a documentary by Sydney-based director Simon Target. It is a tale of two Ukrainian women who left for Poland after the full-scale Russian invasion.
The movie has had a few screenings already at Gilgandra Film Festival 2023 and recently at a special screening at Parliament House.
