Located in the City of Sydney, Canterbury-Bankstown is approximately 13km south-west of the CBD. It is a residential, commercial and industrial area that covers 110km2 and includes the below 25 suburbs and 5 wards:
Canterbury-Bankstown is one of the few places in the state that can be accessed by car, train, boat and plane - Bankstown Airport provides a small hub for smaller aircraft while the International Airport at Mascot is also nearby.
The City is well serviced by two rail lines and major roads that offer quick access to Sydney airport and other major centres.
