There are many parks in the Canterbury-Bankstown area for you to enjoy, for sporting events, family picnics, barbeques, ​walks and get-togethers.

Sports ground hire
Throughout the year, Council's sporting fields are allocated to various schools or codes for match play and training, and are also available for hire on a casual basis.

To hire a spo​rts ground​, please contact Council’s Recreation Team on 9707 9699 at least three working days before your date of hire. Special events may require up to one month notice, depending on the type of event. ​After submitting an application form with full payment of fees, Council will assess your application, and if approved, will send written confirmation of booking to the applicant. ​

Off-leash parks

We also have a number of pet friendly parks and reserves which allow dogs to run around off-leash.​
