Fun activities to stay entertained during lockdown


Are you struggling to keep your kids busy, or are you looking to start new hobbies? Look no further. We've put a list of activities for you to keep entertained, learn new skills and feel productive!

  1. Painted Rocks: Rock painting is a popular activity which is bringing communities together through painting and hiding rocks for others to find. It's a great way for kids and parents to add a little bit of creativity and nature play to their day and an opportunity for families to explore their local parks and bushlands.   2. Happy crafting at home: Our online art classes and activities will have you creating something special in no time. Give your mind a break, relax and let your creativity flow.

  3. Introduce your child to books and reading:  Our virtual story time sessions for parents and children include stories, songs and activities aimed at encouraging literacy and a love of reading from an early age.

  4. Become a Tech Savvy Senior: Visit the Tech Savvy Seniors YouTube channel to learn how to use Zoom, smartphones and apps. Easy to follow video tutorials are available in multiple languages.

  5. Exercise, even from your chair: Check out our Chair Yoga program to help gain better flexibility, mobility, balance, strength and posture. This is a fun activity for anybody on any chair, anywhere! 

  6. Go green: Being surrounded and immersed by nature is a great way to de-stress and engage in mindfulness. You could order a pot plant for your home, or check out our new guide to help you attract native plants and animals to your garden

  9. Go to the movies: With the weather warming up, set up an outdoor cinema with some blankets and popcorn. If you're a real movie enthusiast, join our Online Movie Club to watch some great films and participate in stimulating and friendly discussions with other movie lovers.
