Gather your friends and family and enjoy the outdoors with blockbuster movies across Canterbury-Bankstown – Where Interesting Happens.
CBCity is getting back to events in 2022, with the launch of its new Movies Under the Stars series and night markets. While, many of the City’s popular annual events will also be returning this year, including the Bankstown Bites Food Festival and Ramadan Nights.
Gather the whole family for Movies Under the Stars this February and March. Grab a bite at one of the food trucks and enjoy kid’s activities, before settling on your picnic blankets with your favourite treats and popcorn.
The free event features movies for all ages, including Cruella and Tom and Jerry.
Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour said one of his main priorities is to bring back some of the great community events that have been affected by COVID over recent years.
“It is great our community have been following health restrictions over the past couple of year and embraced the Government’s call to get vaccinated,” Mayor Asfour said.
“It is only now that we can get back to the things we love – like our events – because of the hard work we all did during the many lockdowns.”
