CBCity Scavenger Hunt Terms and Conditions

 Terms and Conditions

 

Instructions, prizes and information on how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, entrants accept these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility

  1. Entrants must be a resident of Canterbury-Bankstown Local Government Area; and
  2.  Councillors and employees of City of Canterbury Bankstown (Council), and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.

When to enter

  1. The activity commences at 8am (AEST), Thursday 1 October 2020 and concludes at 11:59pm (AEST), Saturday 31 October 2020. Entries must be received by Council before the competition close date and time.

How to enter

In order for an entry into this activity to be valid, an entrant must, during the competition period;

  1. Visit one of the participating parks near you (listed on cb.city/mentalhealth)
  2. Find five CBCity Scavenger Hunt signs, each with a different question and answer the questions.
  3. Text your answers to the questions to 0447 098 728 or email them to commdev@cbcity.nsw.gov.au
  4.  When submitting your answers, be sure to include your name, the name of the park you’re at, the question number and your answer.
    E.g “Thanh, Peace Park, Q1) A; Q2) D; Q3) True; Q4) A; and Q5) D.” Where applicable, choose multiple answers to each question.

Entry conditions

  1. Only one entry per person/team will qualify for a prize; and
  2. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

Prizes and winning

There are 80 picnic packs to be won;

  1. Prizes will be awarded to the first 80 people/teams to submit answers to the allocated five questions;
  2. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable, and cannot be taken as cash; and
  3. Winners will be contacted directly before 5pm (AEST), Friday 6 November.

Prize notification and delivery

  1. Winners can collect their prize from Council's administration centres in either Bankstown or Campsie, or elect to have it mailed.

Privacy

  1. Council reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at Council’s discretion.
